About Korena Koba, Founder

Korena is the founder of Seed & Shift, a holistic platform devoted to helping people cultivate a direct, trusting relationship with themselves—developing the capacity to listen inwardly, understand their own experience, and become active participants in their own growth and healing. Her work is rooted in the belief that therapists, teachers, spiritual traditions, and other forms of guidance can be valuable, while ultimately supporting a person’s own capacity for discernment rather than replacing it. Seed & Shift exists to help people become less dependent on external authorities to define who they are, what they need, or what is true for them, and more confident in their ability to discover those answers through their own body, intuition, experience, and inner knowing.

With a degree from UCLA, where she studied psychology and political science, Korena brings together her academic background with an expansive body of study and practice spanning psychology, neuroscience, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, energy work, intuition, creativity, spirituality, and the natural world.

A Reiki Master, Reverend, and mediumship practitioner, she has also studied Human Design, astrology, Bach Flower Remedies, and other systems concerned with human experience and consciousness. Her approach is deliberately integrative: rather than separating these fields into distinct categories, she explores how their insights can inform and deepen one another, weaving together what is useful across disciplines to create a more complete understanding of the human experience.

Korena believes we have access to far more information than we are typically taught to recognize. The body, nervous system, emotions, instincts, imagination, creativity, intuition, relationships, environment, symbolism, synchronicity, nature, and energetic experience can all become part of the conversation. Seed & Shift explores how these forms of information can be brought into relationship with one another—alongside reason, research, and lived experience—to develop a richer and more nuanced way of understanding ourselves.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to bridging worlds that are often treated as separate: science and spirituality, intellect and intuition, psychology and energy, evidence and lived experience. Rather than asking people to choose between them, Korena explores what becomes possible when we allow multiple forms of knowing to inform one another.

Through Seed & Shift, Korena’s aim is to give people a more comprehensive understanding of themselves and a more powerful way of working with their own lives—so that healing, growth, creation, and achievement can become more conscious, efficient, and sustainable. When we understand how we are wired, what drives us, what restores us, what gets in our way, and how to work with rather than against ourselves, we may be able to move toward what we want with greater ease and less unnecessary struggle. The vision is expansive: not simply to overcome what has held us back, but to create the capacity to pursue possibilities that once felt beyond reach, fully inhabit the lives we envision, sustain and build upon what we create, and continue growing into what comes next. Seed & Shift is ultimately about unlocking more of what is possible—helping people not only live more fully, but develop the self-knowledge and fluency to keep evolving, thriving, and building from there.
